Known as, “The Finer Women of Forest Park”, our chapter was chartered on April 4, 2004 in service to the West Side of Chicago, Illinois and its surrounding western suburbs. I am grateful you stopped by to visit with us and learn more about the work we continue to do in the great name of ZETA!

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Tau Xi Zeta Chapter, is an exemplary organization of professional women dedicated to upholding its international founding principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood through a myriad of community-conscious initiatives aimed at improving the economic, educational, physical and mental health of residents in its target communities.

I chose Tau Xi Zeta as my new home not only because the choice was most convenient for me, but I also recognized the high degree of sisterhood, leadership and professionalism shown within the chapter. These qualities were also evident within the community. I noticed Tau Xi Zeta recognizes its members not only for their efforts in the community, but for their professional achievements, as well. The women of Tau Xi Zeta welcomed me with open arms.

I knew after visiting my first chapter meeting that I wanted to reclaim in TXZ. TXZ is very welcoming and the level of organization and professionalism is superb. This chapter has made me excited about Zeta again.

When I moved back to Illinois, I had the opportunity to attend TXZ’s events in my search for a new chapter home. I loved the energy of the women in the chapter. I felt welcomed and that the chapter was ‘about their business’. It wasn’t about the size of the membership body with these ladies, it was about action and getting the work done. I love TXZ.
